ART allows exploration of multi-dimensional dataset through the combination of multiple 2D scatterplot and parallel plane coordinate. The system used the combination of a large multi-touch table and AR headset for each user. 2D scatterplot can be created with the attributes selected by the user and will be displaced on top of the touch table.
Any interaction is done through the touch table, user can select any 2D scatterplot and change the attribute values of each axis or even flip the axis. Brush selection is also available allowing user to color datapoint by using their finger, the resulted color is then applied to any datapoint and line representing the same entity.
Moreover, collaboration is possible, multiple headset can join the same visualization and the alignment between all session is guaranteed thanks to the ground reference of the touch table. It is also the unique source of input ensuring any input will affect views of all users.
