Climate model are very complex and showing their result in 2D, therefore only accounting for the impact of two variables is a relatively limited use. This system proposes to observe such model in 3-dimension, effectively providing a third variable to be observed on those 3D curves.
System remains fairly simple by only providing the possibility of physically moving around the visualization thanks to the roomscale possibility of the HTC Vive, and the ability to grab the whole representation to place it where it suits the user. Nonetheless climate experts find the third dimension to be beneficial in their understanding of the model.
