This system is an immersive visualization tool for NeuCube, a 3-dimensionnal spiking neural network. Each neuron is represented as sphere and connections are visualized as lines with green color for excitatory connection and red for inhibitory connection.
The particularity of this solution is to provide positional head-tracking while using the first version of the Oculus Rift, i.e. DK1, but proposing a solution of their own volition. Moreover, dataglove is integrated for the interaction, e.g. access to neuron’s detailed information by pointing out at it.
